Update 0.3


There are a lot of new features again

  • I have a longer tutorial (i mean it still isnt really a tutorial but- eh??)
    • Slightly better learning curve (though I will keep it as a steep one)
    • The Prompt Icons are from Those Awesome Guys
  • Segment 3 is longer but not done
    • This Segment is about precision in charging and aiming (but mostly charging)
    • It is very easy to be able to fall down a lot so:
      • The Punishment is not that harsh if you do manage to fall to Segment 2
      • The Clutch is very easy and safe to do so
  • Save and Loading Game
    • The Game Saves every second. Manual Saving is not an option
    • When booting up the game it checks for a save file. If it has one it does both things:
      • Put the Position on where the player was previously
      • Put the Velocity on where the player is going to head for (in case you AltF4 trying to save yourself)
    • You might be able to save yourself by pressing the reset button "R" but it is not a reliable way to cheat
  • Pause Menu
    • You do not know how hard it was to add a Pause Menu GUI, anyway
    • A combined Settings and Menu Menu
      • Master, Music and Sound share the same slider for space reasons lol
      • VSync was an ass to code .-.
      • Ragequit is just exit button for losers
      • Oh and then there is Fullscreen/Window Button
    • It's ugly :)
  • Changed the Credits text a bit
    • Nothing much to say about that, I just credited myself in there
  • Right Click to Look
    • As far as I know this feature already existed in Update 0.2 but no one noticed it, so I made it explicit in the tutorial and in this devlog that it existed already
  • Progress Bar
    • Shows how far you are
    • In case you fall down, a painfully red bar shows up to show from where you started to fall and then goes away 3 seconds later
      • Shows how much lost in progress :)
